Description

Stance Healthcare has an immediate opening for a CNC Machine Operator at our Stratford facility on a straight day shift.

Position Summary:

The CNC Machine Operator is an integral member of the Stance Healthcare Production team.

The position requires a high degree of adaptability in order to keep up with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner with all other team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reviewing scheduled job orders and priority lists
Picking required materials for each order, using a forklift and/or manual material handling equipment
Preparing and loading materials onto flat CNC bed
Setting up and managing the machine to execute various tasks, making adjustments as necessary
Overseeing the CNC machine during operation to ensure accuracy
Trimming nested parts and organizing components out of the nested sheet
Assembling components as needed
Operating table saw and table router as required
Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Performing preuse checks and preventative maintenance as scheduled
Other duties as assigned
A minimum of 1 year experience operating a CNC machine
Demonstrated mechanical capabilities/aptitude; experience using various hand tools/air tools/power tools, etc.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent hand eye coordination
A positive attitude & desire to learn
Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers
