Description

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement ageappropriate curriculum and activities for children in the early childhood education setting
Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
Provide individualized attention and support to each child
Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining records
Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's development and progress
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Follow all licensing regulations and adhere to the center's policies and procedures

Skills:

Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities, materials, and resources
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
Bilingual skills in English and French are a

Requirements:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of child development milestones and appropriate teaching strategies
