Description

Sheehan's Truck Centre is a well established family owned/operated Volvo heavy truck dealership.

The CFO directs the dealership's financial planning and accounting practices, as well as its relationship with lending institutions, and the financial community, and will participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

Essential Duties

Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate and insurance activities for the dealership.
Prepares and interprets a complete financial statement.
Participates in the preparation of short

- and long-term financial forecasts for the dealership.

Appraises the dealership's financial position and issues periodic financial and operating reports.
Oversees financial operations of related companies
Implement operational best practices
Supervises HR functions managed by Assistant Controller including payroll preparation, submission, and legal compliance. Manage HR concerns in the absence of the Dealer Principal.

Requirements:

University Degree
Professional Accounting Designation
Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Dealership experience preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
Ability to adapt to changing environment and meet deadlines
Computer proficient
Strong leadership skills
Detail oriented
Honest, courteous, and able to demonstrate strong work ethic
Driven and results focused
