The successful applicant will work with a small crew on various residential and commercial projects and be a mentor and safety advocate to their team.

The applicant will have aspirations to become a crew leader and will be open-minded to learn the DICAM way as they build on their leadership skills.

Our Expectations:


  • Work together with crew in completing various construction projects
  • Read site drawings and complete site layouts
  • Operate equipment related to construction projects
  • Install drainage tile and catch basins, night lighting, water features and flagstone
  • View videos of jobsite from sales representative prior to starting job
  • Maintain communication with Crew Leader on a daily basis to ensure vision and satisfaction are met and to discuss any changes
  • Review job materials and allotted hours regularly to ensure that everything is on track as expected
  • Ensure necessary equipment is on site as needed and be aware at which point it can be moved off site
  • Analyze information on job sites to determine priorities and complete tasks in this order, while making the best final decisions and solving any problems
  • Fill out documentation, including timesheets, site reports and circle checks
  • Track crew equipment
  • Regularly inspect equipment and inform Crew Leader promptly if equipment is damaged or unsafe
  • Oversee final site check and clean up, ensuring DICAM standards are met.
  • Coach and mentor crew members to develop their skills
  • Provide feedback to management regarding staff performance for reviews and constructive criticism
  • Remove all garbage from truck at the end of the day and ask crew members to do the same.
  • Promote the health and safety of all crew members

Job Requirements:


  • High school Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 2 years of landscape construction experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Safety conscious
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent time management skills while maintaining efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills and capable of dealing with a wide variety of people in a polite, positive and cooperative manner.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate LMN and Landscape Ontario website and other sites as needed
  • Basic math skills
