Responsibilities:

The Junior Project Manager manages capital projects, ensures safety, budget adherence, and timely execution.

  • Support execution of capital projects, maintaining safety, budget, and schedule.
  • Create and manage project documentation: WBS, cost estimates, risk registers, schedules, and execution plans.
  • Assess, manage, and report on project status and risks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and project teams for project success.
  • Assist in planning future capital budgets and project evaluations.
  • Be a safety leader, fostering a positive safety culture.

Education and Experience:


  • University degree or technical diploma (mechanical background preferred)
  • Eligible, or in pursuit, of a PMP designation
  • Understanding of mining or similar industries
- *Ability to work underground (if interested in the underground position)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle varied workloads.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles (PMBOK).
  • Effective communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
