Major Responsibilities
- Assists with assembling and compiling information / survey packages.
- Assists with collecting and organizing data collected.
- Assists with compiling and consolidation of data for others to analyze/process.
- Assists others with drafting documents, bulletins etc. and data analysis.
- Documents findings and assists in maintaining data / statistics.
- Assists with various office functions and/or attends special events to provide support/onsite assistance and distribute information.
- Directs inquiries to appropriate staff to answer questions or handle requests.
Key Qualifications:
You must also describe your qualifications and experience against the below skills.
- Post secondary education or current enrollment in an IT, Computer Science, Public Policy & Administration, Business, Commerce or research oriented program as recognised by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
- Experience in preparing and carrying out surveys.
- Experience supporting research activities, including reviewing published research and grey literature.
- Experience with data collection and survey methods, including questionnaires, interviews, and focus groups.
You must also have:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail, ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with mínimal supervision, deal with conflicting priorities and work demands.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research, analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact with staff in an efficient and diplomatic manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Knowledge in business process mapping is an asset.
