Parts Picker - Nights

The Part Picker - Nights is a full-time role will be reporting to the Nights Supervisor at our Salford, Ontario facility.

The role requires working under general supervision, moving materials to various areas inside and outside the facility using powered fork lift truck, transporting material between departments while ensuring proper routing of material is maintained.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure timely picking and packing of parts orders to meet shipment deadlines.
Facilitate timely delivery of orders to other plants, contributing to streamlined production processes and customer satisfaction and minimizing errors in order processing.
Efficiently navigate the warehouse layout to locate and retrieve parts for orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Inspect picked parts for quality and conformity to specifications before packing, flagging any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
Utilize scanning equipment or software to accurately record picked items and update inventory systems in realtime.
Collaborate with team members to prioritize orders based on urgency and shipping requirements.
Assist in the packaging and labeling of parts orders according to company standards and shipping guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
Computer skills is an asset
Knowledge of Infor, Excel, and EPDM
Good organizational skills
Attention to detail
Time management
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
