Payroll Administrator based in
Dartmouth, NS.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Accurate & timely Canadian payroll processing
  • Analyzing transactions
  • Complete ad hoc reports for various internal clients
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Canadian Payroll is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a small team
  • Postsecondary education in a related field, preferably a payroll designation
  • Knowledge of Federal vs Provincial Payroll Laws including Quebec
  • Computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Pay works considered an asset
  • Well developed communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Minimum of one year experience in a general office environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
