Fundraising & Social Media Coordinator


The Toronto Grace Health Centre (TGHC) provides, specialized care to those individuals who require Complex Continuing Care, Post-Acute Care Rehabilitation, Transitional care and Palliative Care services.

The care and services provided at TGHC help facilitate the patient flow through the health care system and ensures recovery to those individuals who may return to their homes or to Long Term Care (LTC) facilities in their communities.

TGHC operates in 3 sites - the Main site (Church& Bloor St), Harbour Lights (Queen & Jarvis Street) houses and a Specialized Care Centre (Victoria Park & Mc Nicoll).

The Fundraising & Social Media Coordinator will support the Hospital's Fundraising and Social Media portfolios by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on various activities related to fundraising events and initiatives and social media content development and social media platform engagement.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provides support and assistance on various fundraising activities and initiatives
  • Helps coordinate various events and participates as needed
  • Assists with donor stewardship activities such as thank you calls, thank you letters, and others as needed
  • Attends fundraising events and assists as required
  • Assists with marketing and communications, including research, creating signs, postings and develops content
  • Helps to drive engagement on social media platforms
  • Helps develop social media plan in collaboration with leadership team
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Acts as an Ambassador throughout the Community, positively representing the Hospital
  • Work as a team player promoting a positive and professional work environment and conduct role with integrity and respect.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time in order to meet the overall goals and objectives of the Toronto Grace Health Centre
  • Abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and work in a manner that is safe
  • Operate within Mission, Vision and Values of the Organization

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 3 or more years related work experience
  • Knowledge of various fundraising activities and strategies
  • Ability to plan and execute small scale fundraising events and develop branding materials (social media posts, posters etc.)
  • Good Knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to create engaging content
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders, internal and external and build trust
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and oral and written communication skills;
  • Selfdirected critical thinker, able to manage multiple priorities and meet competing demands,
  • Strong data entry skills, donor software an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
