About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our company as the
Vice President of Technology Operations and Infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our technology operations and infrastructure strategies, ensuring the availability, reliability, and scalability of VN's global big data and Ai-powered products.

This role will work closely with cross-functional technology teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives, driving innovation and efficiency in our organization.

What you'll do here:

Planning and Execution:

Lead infrastructure planning and coordinating with all Tech team members with detailed specifications and expectations in order to deliver quality results within deadlines.
Accelerate the execution of VN's comprehensive technology operations and infrastructure strategy to align with business goals and objectives.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in technology operations, infrastructure, and related processes.
Constantly provide guidance to all Tech team members on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Team Leadership and Management:

Recruit, onboard, develop, motivate and mentor a team of engineers and technical service leaders; building and growing a distributed highperformance team across Viral Nation Group globally.
Build and lead a highperforming team of technology professionals, providing mentoring, coaching, and guidance to promote their professional growth and development.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication, highperformance teamwork, and advanced knowledge sharing.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for the technology operations and infrastructure team.

Technology and Development Operations:

Ensure the scalability, availability, reliability, and security of our technology systems, networks, and infrastructure, including data centers, cloud platforms, and network connectivity.
Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to maintain operational efficiency, ISO/GDPR/SOC compliance, and risk mitigation.
Monitor, maintain and optimize production environments, implementing proactive measures to ensure high availability, performance, and security proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
Collaborate with development teams to establish efficient and reliable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the automation of software builds, testing, and deployment processes.

Infrastructure and Project Management:

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, leveraging both onpremises and cloudbased technologies.
Oversee the management of hardware, software, storage, and networking resources, ensuring effective utilization and cost optimization.
Evaluate and select technology vendors and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and costeffective solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define technology requirements and project scope, ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives on time and within budget.
Implement project management best practices, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and performance tracking.
Provide regular project status updates to executive management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended solutions.

What you need to have:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Must have 10+ years of supporting fast paced web and mobile app development environments, and technology based customer facing products servicing 2M+ users, and preferably within a progressive and technologyoriented company
Extensive experience working in a DevOps role or a similar capacity, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing technology operations and infrastructure within a highgrowth organization.
Indepth knowledge of Technology infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, data streaming services, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
Strong understanding of TechOps service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience implementing best practices.
A successful history in managing infrastructure projects from conception through design, development, deployment and maintenance, preferable in a big data based business
Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
