- Take your ambitions to the next level
- Perform general ledger account analysis (including intercompany) and preparation of tax worksheets;
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns for Canadian companies;
- Compile information required for Canadian and US returns;
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly accruals, including accounting entries and continuity schedules;
- Participate in tax audits and prepare required documentation;
- Prepare various tax analyses;
- Collaborate in the realization of special projects;
- Collaborate in any other related project;
- Work in collaboration with the Corporate Tax Manager.
- When it just clicks
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other education;
- CPA designation, (CA, CGA, CMA) or in progress;
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Resourcefulness, autonomy, attention to detail, initiative and commitment;
- Excellent knowledge of office software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of tax filing software such as Corporate Taxprep and Taxprep Forms (an asset);
- Ability to manage priorities well while meeting deadlines;
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate;
- Bilingual (French and English) both oral and written;
- The mastery of the English language is essential since it occupies a good percentage of the communications, both internally and externally (i.e. divisions in the United States, Ontario, Western Canada and Europe).
