Program Assessment Specialist - Ottawa, Canada - Carleton University
Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to provide academic program assessment advice and guidance for new program developments, annual curriculum renewal, and cyclical program reviews in compliance with mandated internal and external policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of outcomes-based education design, assessment, measurement, and evaluation methodologies, processes, and practices
- Knowledge of governing framework, committee structures, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
- Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, disciplinespecific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
- Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context
Education and Experience:
The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
- Master's degree in education or psychology or related fields
- Minimum of four years of education measurement and assessment experience plus three years in a leadership role
