Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. was founded in 1993 to provide Foodservice Customers with a fresh alternative.

We are currently seeking a full time Customer Service Administrative Representative to join our team for the Ottawa Facility.


Description of Role:


Reporting to the Branch Manager the position Customer Service Administrative Representative of has a responsibility for the administration and customer service related activities within the Ottawa branch.

This includes assisting the sales staff and management with the day to day operation of the office, fielding customer calls, order entry, inquiries, banking activities, customer invoicing and general office duties.

Along with the rest of the members of the Ottawa team, is responsible for the overall delivery of quality Customer service and a positive customer experience.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry, including order processing and other daily procedures
  • Associated paperwork for all orders
  • Managing all customer inquiries and providing prompt responses
  • Daily cheque deposits and bank consolidations
  • Daily tracking of COD and credit card payments
  • Printing customer invoices
  • General office and customer service duties as assigned

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Strong computer skills working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and also alone
  • High level of detail and accuracy while working under specific deadlines
