The Team

The Global Banking and Market Technology Team is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Solutions Expert to lead major multi-disciplinary projects and deliver solutions to solve complex business problems.

The Role
The role is a key position in the GBME - derivatives technology team.

The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders in front office, Middle office, risk management, operations as well as technology partners to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design and delivery of quality technical solutions to support the business needs.

The incumbent will also be responsible to provide guidance to business analyst and project staffs.

Responsibilities:

Lead and drive the implementation of technology solutions and enhancements for derivative platform using new technologies and tools that best support the diverse business needs and strategy.
Manage small to large multidisciplinary projects to solve complex business problems. This may involve planning, defining business requirements and processes, prerparing effort estimates and business case proposals, developing testing and implementation strategies and required documentations, developing plans, monitoring progress against planned objectives, and securing consensus and cooperation from users and senior management.
Manage and provide business support for derivatives business globally, this may include system integration, perform analysis, adhoc queries, user training. designing and implementing system enhancements.
Effectively communicate and build rapport with all team members and stakeholders including various technology teams and vendors. Continuous building and maintaining strong working relationship with business stakeholders, and partner with them to help drive the strategy of the department.
Provide coaching, guidance and leadership for the team, and assist Director/Sr. Manager in resource management and recruitment and provide input into team member performance and development plans.
Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the Division's business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, Back Office processes, and rapidly changing technology to be able to provide effective business solutions and services to the end user business lines.

Qualifications_**- Have relevant IT and industry work experience in Capital Markets

Advanced knowledge of major financial markets, financial instruments ranging from OTC derivative products to foreign exchange, including market convention and valuation methods, risk management methodologies, regulatory requirement, Back Office processes, and the endtoend workflows among the Front, Middle and Back offices.
Strong problem solving and analysis skills followed by good ability to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations and solutions to complex and multidimensional problem.
Have previous experience managing or coaching business analysts
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, and able to manage stakeholder relations and work with cross departmental teams effectively
Experience in data analytics experience using Python, SQL, and Elasticsearch
Indepth knowledge of derivatives products on interest rates, equity, credit and FX and understanding of complex nonvanilla products and operation process would be an asset.
