Data Maintenance Specialist (Full Time/Permanent) - Brampton, ON

Reporting to the Manager, Pricing & Data Maintenance this position works with the inventory, price and other related databases ensuring all records are accurate and complete.

Duties will include the setup and maintenance of gas, hardgoods and other types of part numbers. The business will rely on this position for constructive solutions for ongoing system maintenance and support issues.

Responsibilities:

Provides guidelines and services utilizing the databases to all Package Gases internal and external customers
Making recommendations to management regarding JD Edwards system data warehouse processes, procedures, and accuracy.
Analyzing, evaluating and processing system changes to ensure optimum system processing and data accuracy.
Works with the hardgoods vendors to ensure we have uptodate increase files
Runs analysis for management based on the increases from hardgoods vendors
Works with online programs including webbased process tools for set up and maintenance of the Inventory Items.
Provides ongoing support of JD Edwards system files including part numbers, pricing etc...

Qualifications:

High School Graduate; College or technical school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
A detail person by nature, who possess strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access are required
Experience with JD Edwards System is an asset
Results driven and able to meet multiple deadlines
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to bring original ideas to team discussions
Ability to work in the office 5 days per week, 40 hours work week

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
