Junior Drafter to join our amazing design team
Role and Responsibilities
- Works within deadlines, goals, and ensures production quotas are met
- Alter master plans to produce working drawings for single family homes, duplexes, and townhomes including grading
- Operate computerassisted design (ArchiCAD) and drafting workstations
- Ensures adherence to schedules for project completion and distribution
- Works with other architecture team members to refine standards and processes
- Check and verify working drawings to conform to specifications and design data
- Prepare construction working drawings
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Diploma in Architectural Technology
- At least 5 years' Canadian residential drafting experience required
- Excellent knowledge of Alberta Building Code
- Extensive experience with drafting methods and tools.
