What you will do:
_**- 24-hour on-call emergency response coverage is required on a rotation basis

  • Perform administration duties
  • Coordination of monthend duties and responsibilities, including preinspection & turnover of vacant suites
  • Ensure resident issues and service requests are addressed within 24hours (minor repairs and maintenance tasks)
  • Accompany vendors and contractors while work is being completed and reporting progress to the management office team as required
  • Familiar with the emergency operation of electrical, elevator, boiler, fire panel, safety systems, mechanical systems, emergency generator, sprinkler, and timer systems
  • Complete maintenance as required. Some examples include clogged sinks, lighting replacement and repair, toilets or flood cleanup
  • Ensure operations records, files, and documentation are maintained accurately and timely and in accordance with established procedures
  • Consistently maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Seek ways to exceed the service expectations of residents
  • Cleaning duties as assigned by the Property Manager or designate

_ Who we are looking for:_

  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience or an apprenticeship or combination thereof.
  • Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships with team members, contractors, the public, and residents.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both oral and written.
  • High degree of diplomacy, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Completion of high school required. A trade certificate or licence would be considered an asset.
  • Related handson experience with Multi-Residential Property Management with strong service ethic commitment.
  • Awareness of Occupational Health & Safety and WHMIS management practices.
  • Basic understanding of all applicable laws, legislation, and rights concerning resident/landlord relations.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage tight deadlines.
