We are looking for a Data Scientist to focus on our Invoice Simple.

Job Description:


As a Data Scientist with a focus on data quality, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our data assets.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, to develop and implement data quality frameworks and processes.

Your expertise in R or Python will be crucial in creating robust data pipelines, performing data profiling, and implementing data validation techniques.


Responsibilities:


  • Data Quality Assessment: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to evaluate the quality of incoming data, identify potential issues, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Data Profiling: Utilize R or Python to perform comprehensive data profiling activities, including data exploration, outlier detection, and statistical analysis to gain insights into data quality challenges.
  • Data Validation: Design and implement data validation strategies, including data cleansing, standardization, and transformation techniques, to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Data Monitoring: Develop and maintain data monitoring frameworks to proactively identify data quality issues and implement timely corrective measures.
  • Data Governance: Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of data governance policies and best practices, ensuring adherence to data quality standards throughout the organization.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to investigate and resolve data quality issues, providing analytical support and actionable recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance data quality processes, leveraging automation and emerging technologies to streamline data quality assurance activities.
  • Documentation: Document data quality rules, processes, and outcomes, ensuring clear and concise documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a demonstrated focus on data quality and data governance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in R or Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data validation. Strong understanding of data quality concepts and best practices.
  • Data Skills: Experience with SQL for data querying and relational database systems. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sisense) is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a crossfunctional team environment, building relationships and working towards shared goals.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.

This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.
