Job Description:

The incumbent reports directly to the Academic Chair of the ICT-SSN department.

Under guidelines set by College policy, department procedures and practices, the Technologist is responsible for providing technical expertise and support for ICT academic labs.

They are responsible for supporting implementation of ICT special projects within the ICT-SSN Department. The incumbent is also responsible for working in collaboration with the department full-time technicians and CSEP students.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain computers and networks in labs;
Monitor labs in the Computer Studies Department;
Support Faculty and Students.

Required Qualifications- Three (3) year diploma or equivalent in Computer Information Technology Maintenance, preferably with a Networking focus;- CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft certification (MCSA or MCSE) or Network+, Cisco CCNA.
