    The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating the development of national and international standards associated with natural resources, primarily related to sustainability and innovation.

    This includes standards for various natural resources issues such as climate change adaptation, community flood resilience, water pollution prevention, autonomous mining, forest bioeconomy, and biodiversity management, among others.

    Oversee all aspects of standards development, including management of multiple national and international natural resources standards development committees.


    Identify and gain support for potential areas for new standards or training programs by working with committees and applying sector knowledge.

    Manage committee members and resources required for projects.

    Support Communities of Interest and promote involvement among members and stakeholders.

    Technologist or Bachelor's degree (e

    g Experience:
    3-5 years in a sustainability or natural resources related field

    Research, analytical, self-motivation, leadership, organizational, planning, oral and written communication, facilitation, interpersonal, business development, and proficiency in major Microsoft and Project Management software

    Certified Project Management Professional or equivalent

    Bilingualism:
    Proficiency in French would be an asset

    Applicants with proficiency in French will be given special consideration.
