Primary Purpose:

The Human Resources Administrator will provide administrative support and reporting for the HR Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the HR department.
Provides onboarding and recruitment support to the team to fill open positions.
Data entry relating to personnel records.
Monitors the employee experience throughout the operations to identify employee relations issues and opportunities and recommend ideas and actions.
Works collaboratively with all operations, leading and/or partnering on the communication and implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.
Keeps current with changes to legislation such as Human Rights Act, Privacy Act, Employment Standards, and Health and Safety legislation.
Provides information and advice regarding workforce planning, employee relations, workplace issues, workplace health and safety, and HRrelated legislation.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Fully bilingual with high level comfort communicating in both English and French
Business or Administrative Certificate or Diploma considered an asset.
Completed or working towards a CHRP designation.
3 years' experience in Human Resources or other administrative roles.

Skills and Abilities

Computer skills such as Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters, as appropriate.
Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Possess strong problemsolving ability, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to act with integrity, good judgment, and discretion.
