Primary Purpose:
The Human Resources Administrator will provide administrative support and reporting for the HR Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the HR department.
- Provides onboarding and recruitment support to the team to fill open positions.
- Data entry relating to personnel records.
- Monitors the employee experience throughout the operations to identify employee relations issues and opportunities and recommend ideas and actions.
- Works collaboratively with all operations, leading and/or partnering on the communication and implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.
- Keeps current with changes to legislation such as Human Rights Act, Privacy Act, Employment Standards, and Health and Safety legislation.
- Provides information and advice regarding workforce planning, employee relations, workplace issues, workplace health and safety, and HRrelated legislation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully bilingual with high level comfort communicating in both English and French
- Business or Administrative Certificate or Diploma considered an asset.
- Completed or working towards a CHRP designation.
- 3 years' experience in Human Resources or other administrative roles.
Skills and Abilities
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters, as appropriate.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Possess strong problemsolving ability, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to act with integrity, good judgment, and discretion.
