You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of incoming member documents in a multi-client and multi-functional environment.

You will ensure that client data is tagged and categorized in an imaging system and a corresponding work process is initiated in our administration systems.

In addition, y ou will assist and s upport members, employers, pensioners, and other interested parties on inquiries and processing requests regarding many aspects of the OMERS Pension Pla n(s).

You will provide best in-class service to all OMERS clients.


As a Member Experience Assistant, you will:
Analy ze and review all new incoming mail and returned mail received and scanned by the Corporate Mailroom

Categorize documentation in the imaging system and i nitiate work processes within our administration systems within established guidelines and procedures

Maintain the image correction database

Scan and validat e outbound mail for Member Experience

Acquire a solid understanding of other department functions related to administration of the OMERS Pension Plan(s), to provide timely and accurate service and support

Keep appropriate management team members informed by providing immediate notice on sensitive client issues

Handle member, employer, pensioner and third-party follow-up/maintenance calls and transactional processing within productivity standards and service levels

Provide sound judgement, and ensure information is relayed accurately and in a positive and courteous way

Be flexible to take on additional tasks, which includes assisting other teams, as required

Uphold and demonstrate OMERS vision and core values while developing a good rapport with internal teams as well as with our members, employers and third parties

Work collaboratively with peers by sharing information and communicating in an open, honest and professional manner, to ensure objectives are met


To apply, you will need:

Post-secondary education/accreditation in a business-related field

P ension benefit administration, c lient service or other relevant experience is considered an asset

Possess a positive attitude, customer service focus with a commitment to personal development and continuous learning

High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information

Experience with records management or mailroom function preferred

Fluent in French is an asset
