We import, manufacture and distribute a full line of brand name, professional food equipment to our clients throughout the hospitality industry, which range from restaurants, hotels, institutional kitchens, supermarkets, bakeries, etc. Along with the thousands of kitchen items we supply at our retail store and showroom, we also specialize in custom fabrication, professional installations and knife sharpening services.

The Opportunity:

Nella Group is currently looking for a full-time order picker/general warehouse team member to join our team located in B Ave E, Maple Ridge, BC.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Receiver will be responsible for the coordination and execution of our order picking process. In particular, you will be required to receive and pick orders, along with updating orders and generating the paperwork using SAP.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Pick orders for outgoing shipments and deliveries

Perform inspection and inventory checks to resolve discrepancies between ordered goods and good received (i.e. quality, quantity, delays, accuracy, etc.)

Update inbound orders through SAP and generate required paperwork

Ongoing maintenance and upkeep of stock room (i.e. cleaned and organized)

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar role - i.e. order picker, inventory control, warehouse, etc. (3+ years required)

Previous experience operating a fork-lift machine (required)

Ability to life up to 50 lbs., unassisted (required)

Willingness and ability to be on feet, uninterrupted, for extended periods of time (required)

Experience with SAP or other ERP system considered an asset

Strong time-management, multi-tasking skills and high attention to detail

Displays the ability to work in fast paced, dynamic work environment

What We Offer:

$18/hr-$20/hr
