COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct site quality duties including
- Sanitation verification
- Environmental monitoring
- Sampling
- Raw material review and release
- Deviation investigation and CAPA
- Change Controls
- Material approval, equipment files
- Product label and CoA review
- Vendor Qualification
- Batch record review
- Be the site contact person and assist with company's document and inventory control programs
- Conduct internal audits
- Create SOPs and drive process improvement
- Administer training program
Experience/Competencies
- Science/Engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of and experience with
- Cannabis Act and Cannabis Regulations
- Quality Systems
- IQ/OQ/PQ
- Good documentation practices
- GPP and GMP
- Food and material safety/HAACP
- Able to work with diverse teams and provide quality leadership and insight to other departments
- Experience working in a cannabis processing facility (or similar regulated environment)
- Able to pass a Health Canada Security Check
Salary:
$45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
