JOB DESCRIPTION:

An immediate full-time position (35 hours/week) is available in the research laboratory of Dr. Mark Eisenberg, at the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology of the Lady Davis Institute (Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, QC). Dr.

Eisenberg's research includes knowledge syntheses and clinical trials in public health (e.g., smoking cessation, e-cigarettes, cannabis legalization, opioid crisis) and interventional cardiology.

The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Conducting systematic reviews, including developing protocols, screening search results, extracting data, and drafting manuscripts for publication;
Assisting with grant writing and submission; and
Performing various administrative tasks including CV management, preparing PowerPoint presentations, organizing meetings, and submitting manuscripts to journals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor or Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, or a related field. Recent Bachelor's graduates with an interest in medicine, epidemiology, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent writing skills in English are required for this position
Bilingualism an asset, but not required
Ability to work both independently and in a group is essential
Experience conducting statistical analyses is an asset, but not required
Prior experience with systematic reviews, metaanalyses, and/or clinical trials is an asset
