JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will have at least 2-3 years of professional marketing experience. The role is diverse and provides a lot of day to day variety.


Qualifications:

In order to be qualified, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years marketing experience in a reputable business
  • A strong copywriting skillet for marketing & communications is required. (newsletters, website, social media, print ads)
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS is preferred to be able to manage an online store and company website updates.
  • Ability to create content calendars for all platforms and proactively compile required content from internal/external sources. Go find the story and share it with a clear CTA linked to our conversion goals.
  • Experience managing social media communities, creating engagement and growing our follower counts.
  • Experience managing multiple job boards in support of recruitment.
  • Experience working with nonprofits, chamber of commerce, corp. donations & sponsorship programs, indigenous relations, the mining industry is a bonus.
  • Be approachable and personable and a good liaison able to build relationships with Bandstra staff in a positive, inspiring way, ensuring we deliver on the marketing mandate.
  • Willing to get your hands dirty and package up boxes, label items, do up occasional shipment paperwork, count inventory, pickup orders, tradeshow prep work.

Other:


  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred.
  • Be well organized and able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Office 365, Adobe (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and all leading social platforms.
