In this role, you will:_
Ensure the Project Risk Picture is representative of the risk facing the Extended Docking Word Period (EDWP) for the submarine program.

You will do this by:

Ensuring that the Risk Structure is fit for purpose, always looking for ways to improve the techniques employed in identifying and managing risk.
Putting processes in place to identify risks and hazards resulting from the work the EDWP Project is engaged with.
Managing the information in the corporate risk tool (risk register) to ensure it is reflective of reality and ensure actions necessary to mitigate risks are carried out.
Routinely train members of the Project Team in Risk management and the use of the risk tool.
Acting as the meeting facilitator for scheduled biweekly strategic Project risk reviews.
Ensuring the reporting products are fit for the governance functions they are used for and provide monthly summary reports for customer meetings.
Provide support to Schedule Time-RiskAnalysis (TRA) as required including collection of relevant risks for analysis, triage, and aid upload into Primavera (P6).
Act as a member of the Risk Committee Steering Group and provide input into the overall company risk picture.
A minimum of 4 years experience in Project Management or a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Risk Management, Performance Management or Organisational Improvement.
Postsecondary education in Business, Engineering, or Project Management.
You are adaptable and can quickly adjust to changing priorities.
Experience managing and coordinating multiple tasks at the same time with the followthrough to see a task through to completion.
Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills and previous experience in project or program coordination or operations management.
Selfdriven work as well as driving and motivating others to perform to targets.
Must be fully conversant in the use of Microsoft Products.
Familiarity with the Department of National Defence or the Defence Industry in Canada is an asset.
Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date.
You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
