Cost Analyst

About Salford

Key Accountabilities

Create methods and systems to communicate between accounting and manufacturing of production hours and efficiencies.
Develop a database of production hours to increase accuracy of ERP costing.
Identify opportunities to improve overall efficiency and potential cost savings.
Validate Bills of Materials and item costing.
Analyzes manufacturing variances and recommends changes to standard costing.
Facilitate and perform time studies to track actual production times.
Assist with product costing reviews and analysis.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

College/Bachelor's in Accounting, Business or Manufacturing Engineering
Cost accounting or manufacturing experience is an asset.
Experience with an ERP system (Infor ERP experience is an asset)
Effective communication skills, written and oral, with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
