What you would be responsible for


Strategy and Governance

  • Work with projects to ensure appropriate delivery of new cloud products.
  • Lead a crossfunctional cloudworking group to determine direction, resolve support issues and create a cohesive matrixed team to further EPCOR's cloud initiatives.
  • Escalating issues for discussion at the Cloud Governance Council to ensure areas of concern are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Providing input into the cloud services roadmap to ensure proper maintenance and update of core technology.

***- Anticipating challenges and obstacles to delivering the annual work plan.

  • Identifying the necessary budget, resources, and staff required to deliver Platform services.
  • Executing the annual objectives and priorities and reporting progress.
  • Removing roadblocks and address issues / problems / concerns related to ensure annual targets can be met.

Cloud Operations Support

  • Creating and maintenance of all processes and procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of client requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of service requests and incident tickets.
  • Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities related to Infrastructure Cloud Operations.
  • Providing EPCOR 24x7 Oncall Incident Management support for largescale incidents. Including incident triage, direction, coordination, communication and execution.
  • Forecast annual expenditures and ensure actual costs are expected and accurate.
  • Establish and maintain support contracts for cloud providers and any managed service provider that is used to support cloud services.

Collaboration & Relationships

  • Collaborate with essential business partners to grasp their objectives and explore how cloud technology can effectively achieve those goals.
  • Provide (technical) insights and expertise to support decisionmaking.
  • Consult with customers or stakeholders to create understanding and resolve issues or concerns.
What is required to be successful

  • University degree or diploma focusing on Information Systems, or combination of experience and training in a related field.
  • 5+ years Information Services experience working in a medium to large enterprise.
  • Understand and effectively manage Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and other cloud provider solutions including managing the daytoday tasks related to resource provisioning, allocation planning and security.
  • Develop and manage MS Azure and M365 processes and procedures, implement new standards, address peer feedback and advocate for improvement.
  • Engage key stakeholders to help plan, design, implement, operationalize and problem solve workloads that leverage cloud infrastructure and platform services.
  • Understanding of IT Infrastructure knowledge of server, storage and networking hardware.
  • Capability to manage major incidents.
  • Provided direction, coached and managed performance of direct reports, colleagues or a project team.
  • Ensured the work environment is safe and inclusive.
  • Inspire employees to communicate, share information, and build relationships beyond the immediate team to effectively crosscollaborate.
