The Opportunity


A valuable member of the Toronto Downtown operations team assisting internal and external clients with meetings including coordinating catering services and meeting room setup.

Acts as relief receptionist and provides administrative and facilities maintenance assistance to the Operations Manager and Brokerage Support Team as required.


Responsibilities include:

  • Displays a warm friendly, professional greeting to all those entering the property. Answers telephone in friendly, professional manner. Maintains accurate records of service requests and status.
  • Ensures that all meeting rooms, general areas, kitchen/refresh areas are clean and tidy at all times. Ensures that kitchen areas are fully stocked with coffee, tea, dishes, cutlery etc. This will include the loading and unloading of dishwashers and restocking and ordering supplies.
  • Arranges catering setup / cleanup for internal meetings.

Assists with event planning and coordinating.- Organizes couriers and delivers packages to internal clients.- Provides administrative assistance to the Operations Manager and other members of the brokerage operations team; for example, typing, scanning and mailers.- Responsible for filing and sorting daily mail.

Performs other duties as assigned.
What We Require
HS Diploma or GED. Prior Customer Service experience required. Prior Front Desk, Concierge, customer service or other hospitality experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of the surrounding area and all recreational, hospitality and business-related information.- Experience providing administrative support to a team of professionals, sales or marketing environment preferred.
