Position Title:
Group Administration Support


Reports To:
Manager, Group Benefits Administration


Department:
Group Benefits Administration


Term:
Temporary, Part-time - 12 Month Contract


Schedule:
Minimum 16.5 hours per week


Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.


The Opportunity:

Equitable Life is looking to hire a Group Administration Support staff to join our team We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and an ability to problem solve independently.

What you will be doing:


  • Update and validate plan member and plan sponsor information
  • Update banking information, in accordance with external vendors' guidelines
  • Terminate and reinstate plan members, divisions and group contracts to ensure that only eligible claims are paid, including the collection of any resulting overpayments

What you will bring:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and creative problemsolving abilities, utilizing research skills
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with MS office in particular Excel and Word
  • Ability to handle high volume of work within a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities and prioritization skills
  • Logical reasoning abilities in relation to business accounting and practices
