- Spend time in the field developing market level leadership connections, specifically with the various Bank and Credit Union sales leaders (i.e.: DVP/RVP).
- Identifies performance enhancement opportunities to significantly improve employee productivity, reduce costs, and manage risks.
- Fosters strong internal and external networks and works with and across multiple teams to achieve business objectives.
- Participates in projects and other activities designed to improve the partner and customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong market level leader relationships with partner Banks/Credit Unions.
- Exercises integrity and strictly adheres to HEB policies, procedures, and risk appetite.
- Builds effective relationships and routines with internal HEB partners (i.e.: Inside Sales, Operations, Risk, IT etc.)
- Maintains the confidentiality of both customer and Bank information ensuring compliance with Bank Policies & Procedures.
- Keeps up to date on all communications including changes to HEB policy and procedures.
- Acts in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements that include, but are not limited to, Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Reporting requirements, FCAC consumer provision requirements, and Privacy Act provisions in accordance with Bank Policies & Procedures.
- A University Degree or College Diploma

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP, Banks and Credit Unions, you are part of the Bank's Referred Sales Leadership team. You are a HomeEquity brand ambassador within the markets you serve. You are responsible for ensuring that company standards are achieved and maintained with targeted emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support and structure to our Business Development Team. We have ambitious goals at HomeEquity Bank, and you have the chance to play a significant role in helping us achieve those.
It is critical that you are a skilled communicator who is able to convey information, ideas and policy to all levels. This position will be located in Toronto.
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:
The RVP, Banks and Credit Unions is responsible to plan, recommend and implement strategies to grow and develop the business within the Ontario market in support ofHEBobjectives. This includes the on-going support of a team of Bank Business Development Managers (BDM). This position plays an important role within the Bank because it requires an understanding of the reverse mortgage product and the Bank's business process and translates that to coach and assist our Business Development Managers in the field.
The ideal candidate must be results oriented and able to identify, manage, be well organized and work independently and has good communication skills, with a high priority and focus on excellent Customer Service.
