Your Opportunity

  • Lead and manage the national Corporate Communications team
  • Lead strategic communications for key firm initiatives Enhance firm awareness and understanding of BDO
- 's strategic direction by creating engaging and meaningful communications materials and campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

  • Work directly with the CEO and COO to provide strategic and tactical internal and external communications support
  • Work with executives and senior leaders on strategic, comprehensive internal communications plans that outline objectives, target audiences, messaging, channels, and tactics to achieve measurable goals
  • Mitigate reputational and operational risk by anticipating, preparing for, and responding internally and externally to sensitive situations and other issues
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and make datadriven improvements
  • Explore and implement new communications processes and tools to increase communication effectiveness
  • Identify external stakeholders to collaborate on internal projects and manage relationships Manage department budget to ensure financial complianceLeverage technology to increase effectiveness â" identify new tools and technologies to expand reach and better target internal stakeholders

Your experience and education

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of professional communications experience. Prior professional services firm or large matrix organization experience is an asset.
  • You are forwardlooking, can blend strategic planning and tactical execution, and constantly seeking opportunities to learn and gro

  • You have experience leading people and a team, fostering opportunities for growth with a passion for developing people
  • You have superior communication skills and the ability to develop materials that are clear, concise, and impactful
  • You have excellent interpersonal and client focused skills and are able to communicate effectively internally and externally with all levels, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • You can manage multiple projects in a high pressure, deadlinedriven environment
  • Proven track record in project management, and relationshipbuilding
  • Organizational and complex problemsolving skills with ability to prioritize and demonstrate sense of urgency
  • You are techsavvy, comfortable learning and using current and new technology solutions and platforms to enhance efficiency You are proficient in Microsoft Solutions (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and internal communications platforms (Poppulo, SnapComms)
