The Microsoft Workplace Specialist is responsible for creating, coordinating and executing the Microsoft customer acquisition strategy for SMB.

This includes growing the Microsoft productivity portfolio through sales training and enablement, developing and executing competitive sales tactics while staying current with market and product trends.

Successful execution will also require strong management of the local Microsoft partnership.
This role reports to the Manager, Workplace Microsoft Programs.


What you'll do:


  • Partnering with internal & external resources to grow the Microsoft Workplace portfolio
  • Identify customer business needs and technical readiness. Collaborate with internal teams, and Services to propose prioritized solutions that align with customers' needs.
  • Driving Growth & Activation of premium subscriptions.
  • Supporting the demand generation strategy and sales activations campaigns.
  • Providing Pre-Sales support to Sales & customers on Microsoft Workplace solutions.
  • Facilitating local customer events to deliver Softchoice content, including Customer Immersion Experiences.
  • Developing & delivering training to Softchoice Sales teams on Microsoft Workplace solutions.
  • Engaging with local Softchoice sales teams and sell jointly into customer accounts across sales territories.
  • Ongoing personal development through certification, training and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A deep understanding of Microsoft Workplace and Services
  • 35 years of sales experience (Microsoft products preferred)
  • Excellent customerfacing presentation skills.
  • Highly driven to exceeds goals with the ability to compete effectively against skilled and diverse competition.
  • Growth Mindset: Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses positive approach to problem solving, learning, and development of potential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis
  • The ability and experience in training and mentoring others
  • Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level
  • Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business objectives
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
