SureWerx is a national supplier of tool, equipment, and safety product lines for the Canadian and US markets. Our range of products include abrasives, air tools, hand tools, material handling, lifting equipment, and safety apparel and products.

SureWerx USA is headquartered in Elgin, Illinois, the Canadian location is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada with six branch offices located in the major cities across Canada.

We are looking for a full time Warehouse Associate, who will be working at our Coquitlam branch on Afternoon Shift - four days a week Monday to Thursday from 11:45am - 10:15pm.

Responsibilities:

Load, unload and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment;
Operate a variety of equipment to unload and load and move products;
Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products;
Process incoming requisitions which include picking, checking and packing orders;
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents;
Shipment of orders;
Restock bins;
Maintain and organize inventory;
Use the inventory control system to locate information, search orders or investigate discrepancies;
Clean warehouse constantly;
Other general warehouse duty as required.

Skills & Qualities:

Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs;
Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts is a must;
Good communication skills (verbal and written);
Detailoriented;
Ability to work at a fast pace;
Significant use of memory;
Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and scan gun picking will be an asset;
Team player with a positive attitude;
Strong problemsolving skills;
Steeltoed safety boots required;
One year of related experience will be an asset as we will train.
