About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, Surgical Services, the Ward Clerk works in collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team.
Duties will include but are not limited to ensuring that all required documentation is processed appropriately and accurately, facilitating an effective and efficient flow of written and electronic information as well as supplies, and ensuring the work area is organized.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Successful completion of Grade XII or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a postsecondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an approved Medical Terminology course required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet) is required
- Experience working with SHARE and Meditech systems preferred (OE, EMR and ORM preferred)
- Skill and accuracy in typing
- Good previous work record/attendance record
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Permanent Parttime (50%) position, 35 Hours Bi-Weekly
- Regular hours Monday to Friday
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $23.02 Hourly
