About the RoleReporting to the Store Manager, the In-Store Merchandiser / Receiver is responsible for: loading and unloading stock transfers, operating hand truck and pallet jacks, managing the showroom displays and product transfers, tags and customer pick ups.


This role is responsible for**:

Inbound Shipments

  • Load and unload transfer trucks
  • Pack and unpack merchandise received or sold in the store
  • Operate hand truck and pallet jack
  • Complete inventory counts and inventory management
  • Accurate data entry including scanning and counting

Showroom Presentation

  • Maintain showroom look and feel
  • Maintain cleanliness of showroom, washroom warehouse
  • Sort, check, and distribute in store promotional signage
  • Under guidance of Store Manager, determine product location and positioning
  • Maintain accurate pricing for clearance models
  • Collaborate with in store management on renovations
  • Order parts for floor displays as needed

Fulfillment Admin

  • Create invoices
  • Take payments, some cash handling
  • Allocating product to open invoices
  • Scanning product and prepare to ship invoices
  • Shipping and loading items into customer vehicles
  • Strong computer skills
  • Previous experience operating lift trucks and pallet jacks, or willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Work well with others and build an effective team
  • Reliable and flexible some overtime may be required
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Industry experience preferred but not required

Pay:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
