About the role:


You will contribute by:


  • Managing relationships with offplatform partners
  • Acting as a point person between internal stakeholders and offplatform partners
  • Assisting in creating, analyzing and implementing strategies to increase revenue
  • Working with internal stakeholders to define KPMs for success on and off platform
  • Ensuring content meets and exceeds strategy expectations on and off platform
  • Creating, analyzing and implementing strategies to increase audience numbers and engagement on
  • Analyzing performance and coordinating with stakeholders to determine strategy changes
  • Supporting editorial teams by identifying new audiences and topics that could drive engagement across platforms
  • Partnering with teams across Global News to understand workflows and priorities surrounding audience growth
  • Other duties as required

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Post-secondary education (or equivalent experience) in journalism, data analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 13 years experience in audience development on digital platforms
  • Experience working in digital media and analyzing audience data
  • Strong news judgment or background in digital journalism
  • Proven experience developing and implementing audience growth and engagement strategies
  • Project management experience is a strong asset
  • Proven success working with internal and external teams in dynamic environments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Outstanding time management, problem solving, and teamwork
