Position Overview:


As the _Digital Content and E-Commerce Intern_, your world will be all about gaining a deep understanding of our customer and the brand's offerings to drive acquisition, create engagement opportunities and work with our team to identify and provide the right content for our Canadian digital platforms.


Specifically, you'll be responsible for actively growing consumer engagement across the Shark and Ninja brands, ensuring that we are creating the right environment for our customers on our new Canadian Website.

The _Digital Content & E-Commerce Intern_ also works with internal teams to create and implement content marketing strategies tailored to meet their goals and specific initiatives or campaigns.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Content Creation

  • Partnering with the internal team and agencies to align on content needs.
  • Experimenting with new content forms and strategies to identify new opportunities to help increase exposure for our site to drive traffic and optimize conversions.

Content Management

  • Managing library of educational assets including guides, eBooks, and checklists —working with internal teams to help expose these assets to relevant audiences.
  • Manage a budget for content creation and online advertising and run analytics to ensure KPI are being met.

Website Management & Reporting

  • Manage implementation of backend SEO elements such as: Word Press, Bronto, GA360, site speed optimization, and related programs.
  • Website Maintenance and product page updates
  • Manage and control customers digital perception of all SharkNinja Brands, to ensure they follow brand strategy and protocols.
  • Determine appropriate goals and key performance indicators
  • Track effectiveness of content and social strategy
  • Interpret insights and community conversations into actionable recommendations
  • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance reports

Attributes and Skills:

  • Must be proactive, highly detail oriented and organized and possess strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and deadline oriented
  • Excellent written and grammar skills
  • Competency with MS Office, intermediate proficiency with Excel required
  • Comfortable working with budgets and numbers, with an ability to organize data, interpret metrics and identify trends
  • Strong interest in learning about evolving digital marketing channels and measurement
  • Outstanding problem resolution and follow up skills to effectively manage deliverables
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, analytical and critical thinking and proactive decision making.
  • Passionate team player with a positive "cando" attitude
  • Intermediate French considered an asset but not required.

Education and Experience:


  • Working towards a degree in: Advertising, Marketing, ecommerce or Business
  • Familiarity with GA360, Sprinklr, Bronto, Canva an asset
  • Proven understanding and experience working around marketing strategy & Execution.
