We are looking for a Curator, Indigenous Histories and Contemporary Cultures, North
What we are looking for:
- Scholarly Expertise and/or Community Knowledge;
- Great communication skills in;
- Knowledge of material culture;
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaborative projects;
- Understanding of the Canadian Museum of History's operating environment and strategic directions.
Relevant and recent experience in:
- Relevant Master's degree (a PhD is an asset);
- Equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge of:
- Indigenous cultures in the artic or subartic regions;
- Material culture; Museum practices and operating environment;

Compensation:
$87,186 to $ 102,674
Status:
Permanent Full-Time Position (# 10410)
