Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Move and load materials using heavy equipment
- Bulldoze and build structures as required
- Operate Caterpillar machines to excavate and move earth
- Operate water trucks and tankers to transport water to job sites
- Operate loaders to move materials around job sites
- Use backhoes to dig trenches and remove soil
- Use graders to level surfaces and prepare them for paving
Skills:
- Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics related to construction projects
- Good communication skills for working with other members of the construction team

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a preemployment drug screening test
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$25.00-$27.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
