Position Title - Esports Facility & Events Attendant
- CUPE Part-Time Temporary
Required Qualifications - Diploma or degree in a related field or discipline
- Minimum (1) year of experience with facility or retail operations, esports or gaming experience, student service experience, and/or IT or technologyrelated experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A creative thinker who is eager to put their ideas into action
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings

Esports Facility & Events Attendant
- Temporary Part Time
Facility:
- Perform daily inventory of esports arena
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment for arena guests
- Run POS for equipment rentals (console games, controllers, locker codes, etc.)
- Provide technical support for ggLeap platform and hardware troubleshooting
- Other duties as assigned
Events:
- Work closely with the Esports Head Coach to build and execute a holistic event management plan for the Keyano Esports Arena and esports programs
- Facilitate and coordinate esports events including but not limited to collegiate tournaments, high school tournaments and recreational leagues
- Create and oversee weekly, intramural esports events to engage the student body
- Create and manage rule sets and tournament format documentation
- Build brackets and schedules for esports events on campus
- Coordinate with production team for broadcasting of oncampus events
- Coordinate with marketing team for proper advertising and promotion of events
- Provide event support for birthday parties, corporate rentals, school visits, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
_The term for this temporary employment opportunity is September 18th, 2023 through to April 26th, 2024._
Advertised Salary
- CUPE Temporary Rate
- SW1 $23.
53 per hour plus 11% vacation pay
