About the role
As an IT Operations Team Leader part of the Product Delivery Operations, you will lead a dedicated product delivery operations
team of technical resources with support and deployment backgrounds and technical skills that map to a product line. This team will
focus on maintenance, support, deployment, and operational activities required to successfully deliver products to users and to
ensure the health of products. You will drive escalation of incidents and service requests within a product line, ensuring that
priorities are well understood. You will ensure the consistent practices for on-call and off hours support required by the Service Level
Agreements (SLA). You'll advocate for nonfunctional requirements and ensure that technical debt receives sufficient priority relative
to functional requirements, to ensure success for the product throughout its entire life cycle.

The ideal person possesses strong leadership skills and is an excellent communicator with the ability to influence. This person also
possesses a collaborative mindset to efficiently work with the various product lines. Their strong leadership skills will help them
motivate and develop their team and foster working relationships. Furthermore, their strong organizational skills will enable their
team members to perform optimally, while working under pressure.

What you need Successful completion of post-secondary education in an Information Technology (IT) related field OR


Education
an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.

  • Experience leading and/or managing multidisciplinary teams;
  • Experience managing IT processes including process improvements;
  • Experience in consulting and negotiating priorities and timelines with various stakeholders;
  • Experience making recommendations to management, clients, and partners at various levels;

Experience Experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Experience in the establishment of business processes, operating practices/procedures, support
- documentation mechanisms;

  • A general knowledge of Data Centre and IT Platforms such as Windows Server, RedHat Linux, SCOM,
SCCM (platform), Azure, Identity platforms (AD, AAD, ADFS), McAfee products.

  • Experience rallying teams around a product vision and/or working in an agile environment;

Other

  • Experience supporting teams through change management initiatives.
