We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our
Junior Production Planner.

Position Summary/Objective:

As part of the Supply Planning team, the Production Planner is responsible for ensuring sufficient inventory is in stock to support Riverside's 100% OTIF initiative through effective planning and scheduling of production for Riverside's facility/facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times.
Work with the Supply Chain team to support the ongoing and continuous improvement of our 100% OTIF (On Time in Full) goal
Update/inform/collaborate with customer service and order fulfillment team to ensure customers are kept informed on order delivery status
Perform effective detailed scheduling through SAP according to the MPS plan.
Analyze back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan and schedule production operations.
Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
Support Buyers to ensure the timely purchasing and arrival of materials required for production.
Work with the Production & Master Data Controller to maintain SAP MD up to date.
Follow MRP & MPS best practices.
Identify opportunities for improvement in strategy implementations.
Implement improvement processes to reduce inventory value and nonvalueadded activities.
Follow all required health & safety requirements/directives.
Other duties as assigned and/or as needed.

Education & Qualifications

Degree, diploma or certificate or designation in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent education and experience)
Commercial awareness, understand significance of role as it relates to customer satisfaction.
Tech savvy, advanced level using Microsoft Excel. Good knowledge of SAP
Experience in the food manufacturing industry an asset
