DESCRIPTION


The
Data Entry Clerk assists in the migration of content from the Kingston Health Science Centre (KHSC) current Intranet Content Management System (Drupal 7) to an upgraded CMS (Drupal 10) environment.

The position is responsible for accurately transferring data, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the migration process, tracking, monitoring, and reporting migration progress.

Within this role the employee is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the Kingston Health Sciences Centre strategy.

As an employee, one must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for actively promoting and supporting patient and family centered engagement and care in all we do.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:


  • Transfer content from Content Management System (CMS) (Drupal 7) website to upgraded (Drupal 10) website accurately and efficiently.
  • Track, monitor, and report data migration progress.
  • Identify and escalate any migrationrelated issues to collaborate with development team to troubleshoot.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of data during the migration process.
  • Verify and correct any discrepancies in content formatting, images, and metadata.
  • Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of the migration.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information throughout the migration process. _A full job description is available upon request from Recruitment Services_

QUALIFICATIONS:


Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Healthcare Administration, or Communications, etc.).- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) (Drupal knowledge is an asset) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team. Effective decision-making and analytical skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and WYSIWYG editing is a plus. Prior experience with data entry or content migration projects is advantageous but not required. Prior experience in healthcare environment desirable Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, courteously, and tactfully with all people. Discretion and maturity in handling confidential material/matters. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proven ability to attend work regularly. Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required
