This is a regular part-time 11-month on campus Support position (up to 24 hours per week).

Program Store
- Live Chic Story
- are run by students of the Fashion Marketing and Management Program. You learn.- We sell a curated collection of apparel, accessories gift and beauty merchandise. We buy locally, supporting current students and graduates including small vendors and artisans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all store opening and closing procedures, daily sales reports and deposits
- Training students to use Point of Sale system
- Overseeing students during their scheduled shifts and ensuring a checklist for the student's responsibilities and expectations is completed
- Coaching students with customer service and sales, including assisting with buying, merchandising and displays
- In collaboration with students, assist with new ways to improve sales, meet sales targets, analyze figures, forecast volumes, and strategize for optimal success
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed as per College policy
- Oversee students with pricing merchandise, keying inventory in the Point of Sale system, and completing returns of any defective merchandise to the vendor
- Collaborating with students on followup with vendors, maintaining stock levels in store and online, and receiving merchandise and supplies
- Execute instore channel strategies in collaboration with students including Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok
- Responsible for ecommerce customer service and fulfillment
- Supporting faculty with assigned curriculum directives to be completed in program store (Retail Learning lab)
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Postsecondary 2year diploma in Fashion Merchandising/Marketing and Management preferred
- Minimum 25 years' retail and management industry experience
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Experience with merchandising and display
- Experience with Retail Point of Sale systems and Shopify would be an asset
- Strong organization skills, time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
