Description

Function Summary
Reporting to the manager, Nutrition & Food services, this role is responsible to prepare, temper, re-thermalize, cook, garnish and serve food to patients and the cafeteria.
Tasks include verifying and storing goods into the appropriate area and assists in the maintenance of proper stock levels to meet demands.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary diploma or a one (1) year College degree in a relevant field or a successful completing of recognized Cook, Chef training program of postsecondary level is preferred.
- Food handler's course from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a cook.
- Experience in operating, maintaining and cleaning various type of equipment (fryer, steamer, oven, grill, meat slicer, dishwasher etc.

- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Capacity to provide a quality clientcentered service.
- Intermediate computer skills.
