The Grounds Crew will be responsible for maintaining the Resort grounds to ensure they are safe, clean and presentable to the guests and employees.
Operational Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for debris, garbage, and snow removal of walkways, patios, emergency exits and parking lots
Using both hand held and gas powered snow removal equipment
Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but no limited to bed edger's, commercial mowers, blowers, trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, etc
Address guest questions, comments and concerns
Minor equipment repairs such as sharpening blades
Ensure you are working in conjunction with Health & Safety protocols and practices, and report any damages to equipment or injuries of staff to appropriate Manager immediately
Guest Experience Duties and Responsibilities:
Energetic, outgoing with a positive attitude, driven to deliver elevated guest experiences
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as excellent problem-solving abilities
Respond to special guest requests with a sense of urgency in a friendly and efficient manner
Guest-centric health & safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted G Driver's license with a clean abstract
Two years' experience in this or related field is required
Able to work days, weekends, early morning and evenings
Willingness to work occasional overtime
Must be comfortable working independently
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
