Description

Truspace is looking for an experienced Site Manager to work alongside the Construction Project Manager to deliver a high-profile portfolio of a commercial design-build and refurbishment project that exceed our client's expectations in Edmonton.


This is a temporary role which will began September 15 and run for roughly 5 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete general labour tasks onsite as needed.
  • Responsible for receiving and verifying quantities of all material delivery.
  • Lead and complete construction projects and tasks within the agreedupon deadlines throughout the project.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and labourers.
  • Build relationships with subcontractors, key suppliers, and other companies that support our operations.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to the client's specifications.
  • Possess the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while adhering to overall deadlines.
  • Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects.
  • Make sure our company policies and procedures are being followed to at all times.
  • Ensure that the quality of work completed meets our high company standards.
  • Ensuring all OH&S policies and other regulations are adhered to.
Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • ABrelated H&S certifications.
  • Able to lead an H&S Committee.
  • Knowledgeable with AB H&S reporting.
  • Have your own tools and be able to selfperform work.
  • At least apprenticelevel carpenter/millworker/general contractor.
  • Exceptional organization and problemsolving skills.
  • Have the attention to detail that each project requires.
  • You will ideally have experience working with leasing and property managers, tenants and building operational staff
  • Reliable, hardworking, strong work ethic and an ability to work as part of a team.
  • You should be familiar with OBC, LEED design and Construction, and Construction Health and Safety standards.
