Job Summary:
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation and adherence to two collective agreements.
- Participation in the collective bargaining process.
- Participating in various labour committees.
- Manage layoff and recall processes.
- Support the development of Labour Relations strategies that align with business objectives.
- Lead labour grievances as needed through investigations.
- Oversee job separations, terminations and settlements.
- Work with operations and management to ensure culture and employee satisfaction is being met.
- Maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree & HR Certification (preferred).
- 5+ years Labour Relations experience with demonstrated track record of grievance resolution and collective bargaining.
- Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently, performing well under pressure, and meeting deadlines, while ensuring acute attention to detail and accuracy.
- Travel required (25%) between Mississauga and North Bay manufacturing plants.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Aptitude for solving problems, critical thinking and selfinitiative.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Ability to operate within organizational matrix.
- Comfortable with MS Office tools.
